The Xbox One Spring Bundle includes Halo 5: Guardians, Gears of War Ultimate Edition, Rare Replay, and Ori and the Blind Forest. Thanks to a different ongoing promotion, gamers can also add one free game of their choice from the following Ubisoft titles:
Watch Dogs Assassin’s Creed: Unity The Crew Just Dance 2016 Just Dance: Disney Party 2
Seeing as both the four bundled games and the additional digital download have high retail value sold separately - and the fact that wireless controllers still run gamers $60 - this is one of the best price slashes we’ve seen to date, and the second time the Xbox One Spring Bundle has run consecutively with a console price cut. Microsoft hasn’t stated how long Xbox One units will stay $50, though the last price cut promotion ran for about a month.
It will be interesting to see if the price cut remains a permanent affair, as rumors of a slim Xbox One model have been ramping up ahead of E3 2016, with one anonymous source even stating that Microsoft would confirm the slim unit during its press conference at the expo. The company is also reportedly working on a much more powerful version of the Xbox One entitled Scorpio, which is supposedly capable of running the hardware-demanding Oculus Rift.
Gamers intrigued by the Xbox One Spring Bundle can find it at the Microsoft Store. As if bundling in several top-tier games wasn’t enough, shipping from the Microsoft Store is free, so gamers don’t even have to pay for the leg work of having it delivered to the doorstep.
