While not every player has purchased the DLC, all Dead by Daylight players have access to the new map introduced in this chapter, Midwich Elementary School. This map includes many details from the original PSX Silent Hill, but it also includes something very special.

Fans of Silent Hill may remember the clock tower puzzle in Midwich Elementary School. In this puzzle, players need to figure out how to open up the clock tower in the elementary school’s courtyard. While the conditions to open it are different in Dead by Daylight, players can still open the clock tower doors.

To open up the clock tower, players need to get ready to get generators done fast. There isn’t a time limit to this puzzle, but the faster that players get generators done, the less time the killer has to pick off players. Of course, the safest way to attempt this puzzle is to get a bunch of friends together in a custom match where there aren’t any real stakes.

There are two generators that survivors need to get done in order to unlock the clock tower. They are the generators located in the Piano room and the Chemistry Lab. Players will know if the generator they’ve completed affected the clock tower if they hear the bells of the clock tower upon its completion.

After those two generators are done, the rest of the generators need to be completed. The generators technically can be done in any order, but its safer to get the required generators done first.

Once five generators are completed and the Piano Room and Chemistry Lab generators are included with them, a player needs to power one of the exit doors. Once its powered, the end-game collapse will begin, but the clock tower will be opened.

Inside the clock tower is an item chest that survivors can search through as well as many callbacks to Silent Hill in general. If players grab the item in the chest, they can take it out of the trial with them if they survive.

Dead by Daylight is available now for Android, iOS, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
