Moreover, a Blood Hunt was active last weekend which tacked on double Bloodpoints. This exponentially increased players’ earned Bloodpoints if they also used Frightful Flan offerings, which are also no longer available for players to find in the Bloodweb. But as the anniversary event now comes to a close, Dead by Daylight has shared another interesting Bloodpoint incentive related to the game.

On Twitter, Dead by Daylight is stirring community engagement with a survey examination that tests fans’ knowledge of the game. This exam includes questions that ask about certain effects perks have, what certain UI icons indicate, lore specific to different characters, and which popular franchise a killer may have come from. The catch is that this incentive is one-part exam and one-part a sweepstake, wherein participating fans will only receive one of 100 allotted prize pools of 1 million Bloodpoints at random in a draw, and only if they are able to achieve an Iridescent grade.

Iridescent grades are awarded if participants are able to score between 90 and 100, meaning they must have a near-perfect or perfect score. There are a total of 50 questions that are each worth 2 points, and each participant needs to provide a valid player cloud ID for the exam to recognize them.

This exam is a great test to see how well-rounded fans’ knowledge is about the game and its lore. It is also only accessible for less than 48 hours, so anyone who knows a thing or two about Dead by Daylight’s mechanics and lore should opt in before it closes for a chance at a bonus sum of Bloodpoints. Dead by Daylight’s next content update will be released in the game’s Mid-Chapter, where long-awaited meta perk overhauls and other base kit gameplay reworks will finally be implemented.

Following these changes, new DLC content is not expected until September as per Dead by Daylight’s Year 7 Roadmap. This is rumored to be the launch of Dead by Daylight’s second Resident Evil Chapter, which may also be followed sometime this year with the release of another highly anticipated Stranger Things DLC Chapter, if Behaviour has indeed reclaimed the license.

However, the leak suggesting that Stranger Things will return also states that the second Chapter will launch around Christmas, which interestingly fails to line up with the roadmap’s scheduled months of new Chapter content. Unless Christmas in the leaks is also susceptible to a November release, time will tell before it is officially known whether that will come to pass. Until then, fans will likely continue to see more Bloodpoint incentives and fun events along the way come fall.

Dead by Daylight is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
