The Deathslinger: Best Non-Teachable Build
This build focuses on maintaining pressure on generators and the Survivors working on them using the rather limited perks available to Deathslinger upon unlocking him. By injuring Survivors, The Deathslinger can discover which generators are being worked on mid-chase and can decide to pressure that generator to keep them from being finished until the endgame.
Gearhead (The Deathslinger) – After a Survivor loses a health state, the next time any Survivor completes a Great Skill Check on a generator, their aura is revealed for 10 seconds. Jolt (General Perk) – Downing a Survivor causes all generators within a 32–meter radius to lose 8% progress. Fearmonger (General Perk) – Any Survivor working on a generator is inflicted with the Blindness and Exhausted status ailments. These effects linger for 5 seconds after stopping repairs. Hex: No One Escapes Death (General Perk) – After the final generator is completed, all survivors suffer from the Exposed status ailment, and users gain a 4% Haste effect until the Hex Totem is cleansed.
The Deathslinger: Best Build (2023)
The most effective Deathslinger players can accurately predict Survivor movements and successfully lead their shots. This build allows players to see Survivors’ movements after a rushed action in order to better understand how they move behind cover, allowing Deathslinger’s to get a quick read on their playstyle for a fast down. Moreover, players can make use of Dead by Daylight’s lethal regression perks to gain information and slow down the game.
Discordance (The Legion) – Any generators within 128 meters that are being worked on by 2 or more survivors will be highlighted in yellow. I’m All Ears (The Ghostface) – Any Survivor who performs a rushed action within 48 meters will have their aura revealed for 6 seconds. This effect can be triggered once every 40 seconds. Call of Brine (The Onryo) – After kicking a generator, over the next 60 seconds it will regress at 200% normal speed, and each time a Survivor completes a skill check on it, users will receive a noise notification. Eruption (The Nemesis) – After kicking a generator, its aura will be highlighted in yellow. Upon downing a survivor, all highlighted generators will lose 10% progress, and any survivors working on them will be subject to the Incapacitated status ailment for 25 seconds.
