Behaviour Digital, the team behind Dead By Daylight has been appreciative of fans for making the game as popular as it is. It was announced today that the developers would be adding even more content to the game, including new maps, survivors and, of course, new killers.
Based on the roadmap, it seems Behaviour Interactive will release one new map, survivor, and killer per season throughout the year and into next spring, for a total of 4 each. It’s also interesting to note that the developer said it will provide “better tools to handle toxicity” as part of the new content.
That should be a good thing, considering how negative of an impact toxicity can have on a game’s community. Behaviour is not the only developer doing so either, as we reported earlier that multiple gaming companies have come together to combat the issue.
Although the community may not get as much press as those of Fortnite or PUBG, fans of Dead by Daylight are still a vocal bunch and Behaviour Interactive takes their feedback into careful consideration. Not all of the changes that the developer makes are welcome, but the game is always changing.
Dead By Daylight is available now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
